UCaaS developer and vendor Xelion has announced its entry into Australia and New Zealand via a new partnership with Activa.
After sustained growth in the UK, Ireland and continental Europe, this marks Xelion’s first distribution partnership outside Europe. Activa will act as Xelion’s exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand, providing licences and support via its extensive network of resellers.
Xelion and Activa agreed the deal in the summer, with the platform set to launch in Australia and New Zealand in October.
Users in Australia and New Zealand will access the same licence structure as in the UK. A single licence type includes all features on desktop client, mobile and desk phones – including any new features added in updates.
Xelion’s UK Managing Director, Dave Reynolds, said:
“I’m absolutely delighted with this partnership, which is another milestone in a long period of growth. This is our first partnership outside of Europe, and I have total confidence that it will be a success.
Jason and the Activa team are highly skilled, and I can think of no one better to introduce Xelion to Australia and New Zealand.”
Activa’s Managing Director, Jason Bock, said:
“First and foremost, Xelion is an outstanding product. The platform performs exceptionally well, and the single licence model and open API make it unique. What’s just as important, if not more so, is the Xelion team’s exemplary attitude to partnership and support. I think we’ll make a great team.
“I can’t wait to introduce Xelion to Australia and New Zealand, and I’m confident that it will benefit many businesses in both countries.”
