IT specialist Kingsfield has provided £18k worth of Microsoft Surface devices to Summerseat Methodist Primary School in Lancashire.
The laptops and touch pads will support the school’s internal special education needs and disabilities (SEND) provision, giving children with learning and/or physical difficulties greater access to IT-supported learning in the classroom.
Accessible to all students, the 60 Microsoft Surface devices will help give children more accountability for their learning, allowing them to maximise productivity and engagement in day-to-day lessons.
As well as the students, educators at Summerseat will benefit from the deployment too, with greater access to dynamic teaching methods and materials, as well as the ability to cater lessons and learning to the children’s individual needs.
