Altnets is looking to accelerate the rollout of fibre across the UK through a partnership with network infrastructure solutions provider CommScope.
The Brighton-based FTTX distributor will use its market position and logistical expertise to offer CommScope’s central office fibre optic and broadband solutions throughout the UK, giving network operators and ISPs access to the scalable, high-quality infrastructure needed to satisfy increasing demand for ultra-fast broadband connectivity.
This includes advanced fibre networks with GPON, XGS-PON and high-density fibre solutions, alongside high-capacity 5G and wireless deployments for fronthaul, backhaul and small cells.
Altnets says CommScope products will help network operators roll out FTTX networks and expand into high-processing Central Offices needed to accommodate the growing demand for data consumption.
