How did you get into telecoms by accident or design?
By chance. I owned an IT company and was searching for a solution for a multi-site estate agent. Frustrated by the lack of suitable options, we decided to build our own.
What inspired you to set up Voip Unlimited in 2006?
My passion for product creation. The telecoms industry offered limitless possibilities for innovative products.
How would you describe the journey since? Has it been plain sailing or have there been shocks along the way?
Overall, it has been an enjoyable journey. I consider myself fortunate to have an exceptional team that has been with me throughout.
What lessons have you learnt since 2006?
The importance of designing products and solutions for scalability has been a crucial lesson.
What is having the biggest impact on your business now?
The incredible team I have, the best in nearly two decades, and we have some exciting upcoming projects. Offering bleeding-edge technology comes with its own set of challenges but I enjoy solving the technical problems we encounter.
What excites you most about working in telecoms today?
The thrill of technical problem-solving and the opportunity to design and develop innovative products for our partners.

Lawrence Stroll. I admire how he transformed a struggling racing team into a successful one.
