Agilico launches new Wellbeing Hub to mark ten years of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

Agilico, a leader in workplace technology with circa 500 colleagues and 14,000 customers across the country, is launching a new Wellbeing Hub to underline its commitment to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which are marking their 10th anniversary on 25 September.

The Agilico Wellbeing Hub, a dedicated colleague resource, will go live on the same day and is designed to strengthen work-life balance and support colleagues’ wellness at every level.

Available to all staff, the hub will be a dedicated space for ideas, resources, events and support. It will feature practical guidance on topics such as healthy routines, behaviour change and maintaining work-life balance, alongside tips from recognised wellbeing experts.

The hub will also promote awareness days and national health campaigns, giving colleagues opportunities to connect with wider initiatives. Importantly, it will be brought to life by Agilico’s own wellbeing champions – colleagues who help embed positive practices into daily culture across Agilico.

By focusing on both everyday challenges and long-term wellbeing, the hub aims to make wellness a natural part of working life rather than an add-on. Whether through advice on creating lasting habits, reminders of upcoming awareness events, or stories of success from across the business, the platform is designed to enlighten colleagues, inspiring them to make differences to help improve their lives inside and outside of work.

The timing of the launch is deliberate – The United Nations’  2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) were first adopted by all UN member states a decade ago in 2015, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.

Among the SDGs, several relate closely to the purpose of the Wellbeing Hub initiative. SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) highlight the link between wellness, community and economy. Agilico’s Wellbeing Hub embodies these principles in practice, aligning a global agenda with meaningful action at workplace level.

The need for such initiatives is timely. A recent report by Earth.org revealed none of the 17 goals are currently on track to be achieved by 2030. This stark reality reinforces why businesses must take a leading role in driving progress.

Sam Saunders, Agilico’s Head of Marketing, said: “Our purpose has always been about making work easy, but to do that we must also make sure our people thrive. The Sustainable Development Goals place wellbeing at the heart of their purpose, and we share that belief. The launch of the Wellbeing Hub is about supporting our colleagues, championing work-life balance and building a culture where people feel safe, engaged, rewarded and proud to be part of the Agilico family.”

Agilico has already made sustainability a core part of its identity, from replacing single-use plastics with biodegradable alternatives to transitioning its vehicle fleet to electric and hybrid models. Its refurbished devices have saved thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions each year while supporting schools through book donations linked to the circular economy.

As the countdown to 2030 continues, Agilico’s message is clear: sustainability is about people as much as the planet, and people will play a crucial role in ensuring sustainability efforts help protect the planet.
