Andrew Jones, Director of messaging on hold company AudPro, is encouraging resellers to engage with the health sector and take advantage of the Government’s recently announced £240 million overhaul of telephony and on-hold messaging systems in GP surgeries.
Investment in the latest technology is designed to make it easier for patients to contact their GP and access the information they need, while also reducing the burden on GP receptionists.
Jones points out that on-hold messaging solutions like AudPro’s Messaging on Hold have an important role to play in achieving these objectives by providing callers with their queue position, call-back options, up-to-date opening hours and call routing information.
