2023 has seen channel focused company, Pragma, making some exciting changes, which evolved into a restructuring as part of the EnableX Group. Recent promotions represent their skilled and diverse team, and how Pragma encourages a workplace that celebrates the expertise of their staff. Chief Executive Will Morey has expressed the importance of knowing your team and Helen Ranaghan shares her goals as the new Group Marketing Manager.
Pragma’s growth
Pragma was founded in 2012 and has grown ever since to become one of the UK’s leading Cloud communications distributors. In 2020 they launched their digital services sister company, Candio and in 2022 they acquired Techland. As the business has grown, so has their team. Their 3 Channel businesses now make up the EnableX group, which allows them to offer unique propositions and dedicated support to the Channel.
Growth naturally brings new challenges, and Pragma have addressed this through a series of new hires and well-deserved internal promotions.
Women in tech
The tech industry is evolving, from what used to be seen as a male dominated sector, and increasingly there are more women taking on key roles and leading the way in many companies. Pragma have a team made up of highly skilled and experienced individuals, with many of their senior roles being held by women.
Helen Ranaghan has been part of the Pragma team for 10 years, joining as an account manager in 2013. Helen has worked in the telecoms industry for 34 years, 27 of them in the channel and 18 with Ericsson LG. Her impressive skillset has led her to taking on the new and exciting role of EnableX Group Marketing Manager. Helen’s new role, experience, and relationships with customers, ideally position her to help solve the needs of resellers.
The new role sees Helen overseeing marketing across Candio, Techland, and Pragma.
Helen commented: “Taking on this new role gives me the opportunity to work with and help partners make the most of our exciting range of services, through the creation and promotion of marketing materials. Helping them win business with the right tools.”
Grace Lawless is part of Pragma’s Senior Leadership team, she has a wealth of experience, with 20 years focusing on strategy, customers, and people. Grace’s hardwork and success has led to her being promoted from Operations Director to Group Operations Director, where she will continue to focus on excellence and leading all EnableX teams to success.
Other key promotions at Pragma
Other changes have included, Business Development Director, Ed Savory, being promoted to Head of Sales for Pragma. Ed is a popular member of the team, with substantial product and support knowledge. He has over 9 years’ experience working at Pragma and the change in role recognises his hard work, skills, and accomplishments over the last decade.
Roan Pratt joined the senior leadership team in 2022 as a Sales and Marketing Director, previously leading teams at Enreach UK and Gamma, with record sales growth in UCaaS and CCaaS, his impressive skills see him leading in Sales and Marketing efforts from a strategic point of view.
