IT services provider Principle Networks is planning to expand its reforestation efforts after funding the planting of 2,000 trees through a partnership with Carma, a B-Corp dedicated to transforming the environment and creating a sustainable future.
The partnership supports long-term climate action and, through Carma’s independent relationships with the HighGround Charity and the Standing Tall Foundation, provides horticultural employment for service leavers and veterans.
Alex Steer, Co-CEO of Principle Networks, said: “Veteran repatriation and climate action are two social causes we are proud to be supporting through our valued partnership with Carma. The 2,000 trees planted to date are only the beginning as we look to scale our future investment to boost reforestation efforts and help more veterans reintegrate back into civilian life.”
Last June, Principle Networks donated over £2,500 to Parkinson’s UK by completing the Three Peaks Challenge. In October, Client Director Dan Huckle raised £1,500 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester by taking part in Manchester’s Charity Boxing Nights.
