Spitfire Aims for Growth in 2024 with Market Leading Product Line-up

-Spitfire’s ‘One Network’ solution combines mobile, fixed line and cloud connectivity in a secure, private network-

-Multi-award-winning provider of voice, internet, IoT and wide area network connectivity recently signed new partnerships with CityFibre and G.Network to offer more to customers-

Spitfire Network Services Ltd (Spitfire), the award-winning provider of voice, internet, IoT and wide area network connectivity services, today announced its ambitions for growth in 2024, which will be led by its industry leading product line-up. The launch of Spitfire’s One Network solution, which will provide customers with access to mobile, voice and data connectivity in addition to its existing fixed line and cloud capabilities, spearheads Spitfire’s growth strategy for the year ahead.

Officially launched at the BT Tower last October as a full mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) as part of an agreement with BT Wholesale, Spitfire’s One Network interconnects its advanced latest generation core network with BT Group’s award-winning EE 4G and 5G Radio Access Network. With ‘Enhanced Mobile’, Spitfire’s One Network now offers first class connectivity, better security, and flexible and innovative billing plans, to SME, enterprise and IoT customers across the UK.

In addition to the One Network roll-out, Spitfire also demonstrated its commitment to engineering and innovation with the launch of ‘Spitfire IP Voice, launched as a direct replacement for analogue telephone line services. By December 31st 2025, all businesses are required to switch from the old analogue public switched telephone network (PSTN) to a fully digital all-IP network. The IP Voice solution enables businesses to get prepared for the switch off now, and helps them to avoid disruption as the deadline closes in.

In addition to its focus on product enhancement, Spitfire has further enhanced its service offering with key wholesale partnerships. In November, Spitfire became the first wholesale partner of G.Network Communications Ltd (G.Network), a leading London-based alt-net fibre broadband provider. This collaboration will provide London based businesses with an unparalleled range of options for high-speed, reliable, and cutting-edge data connectivity solutions. Spitfire also announced an extension to its wholesale partnership with CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent full fibre platform. Spitfire has signed an agreement to sell CityFibre’s layer 2 Business Fibre to the Premises broadband product, CityFibre recently announced that its nationwide full fibre network has passed over 3m premises with more than 2.8m Ready For Service to ISPs.

Last year, Spitfire was also named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Network Services 3 (NS3) framework (RM6116). This significant achievement grants Spitfire the opportunity to offer its cutting-edge solutions to UK public sector organisations, supporting the government’s ‘cloud-first’ initiatives and revolutionising the way they access, utilise, and leverage modern network services. As a supplier on the framework, Spitfire will play a pivotal role in enabling public sector organisations to optimise their operations, enhance efficiency and deliver public services that offer the best value for UK taxpayers.

Harry Bowlby, Managing Director, Spitfire Network Services Ltd said, “2023 was a hugely successful year for Spitfire, and especially in terms of how the services we offer our customers have evolved. At the core of everything we do is adding value to our growing network of customers, and with our transformational One Network solution, we are doing just that. We strongly believe we have a market leading line-up of products in the telecoms industry.”

“Whilst I’m immensely proud of our team for their efforts in delivering this level of success for Spitfire, we are now focussed on 2024 and building on the momentum we have created. We have some interesting announcements on the way, especially around a full push into mobile data and IoT,” added Bowlby.
