New from Arduino Pro, Distiamo is an intelligent distancing and positioning solution that helps businesses manage social distancing and contact tracing in any workplace or public/commercial space.
The hybrid IoT solution built in collaboration with analytics and IoT specialist Moviri has three main elements: locators positioned around a space; anonymous tags that can be attached to an employee/visitor bracelet, badge or keyring to monitor distance and time thresholds and warn when they are breached; and a front-end dashboard that lets managers view useful information, manage contact tracing and customise rules and settings.
These include a choice of accuracy level – ‘fine grain’ to within 10cm and ‘coarse grain’ to within 1m – and the ability to mark partitions and panels to prevent false positives when people are close but safely separated.
