TPS restructures its leadership team to accelerate growth and deepen its commitment to the UK channel

Oldham-based IT infrastructure and connectivity specialist TPS has restructured its leadership team and organised the business around two focused divisions, as it invests in sales, marketing and its partner channel programme to support its next phase of growth.

Technology Powered Services (TPS), the Greater Manchester infrastructure and connectivity specialist, has announced a series of leadership changes and a new divisional structure designed to accelerate growth and add further value to its partners and customers.

Founder and Managing Director Andy Hanlon becomes Chief Executive Officer, taking overall responsibility for the strategy and growth of the business he established in 2019. Jake McCarthy, previously Commercial Director, is appointed Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for the operational delivery and day-today running of the business. Chris London joins as Chief Revenue Officer, a newly created role, to build and grow the sales and marketing function from the ground up. Nerys Stead moves into a new role as Director of Business Services, and Andrew Kuriata is appointed Managing Director of the company’s Cellular Services Division.

The changes sit alongside a sharper divisional structure. TPS is now organised around two divisions. The Connected Infrastructure Division is the core growth engine of the business, focusing on the partner channel and TPS’s core infrastructure services, from design and installation through to connectivity, managed services and support. The new Cellular Services Division works with mobile network operators to deliver and transform cellular infrastructure at national scale.

The restructure reflects a business shaping itself for its next phase. TPS is investing in a new sales and marketing function, but the primary focus is on enhancing its channel programme and adding value to the UK channel. By giving partners a clearer, better-supported route to work with TPS, the business intends to extend the reach of its engineering capability and make itself easier to do business with.

For customers, the structure means a more focused organisation with clear accountability across both fixed and mobile infrastructure. For partners, it means continued investment in the people, programme and processes that make TPS a dependable delivery partner at national scale.

Andy Hanlon, Chief Executive Officer:

“We have built TPS on the quality of our delivery and the trust of our customers and partners. These changes are a deliberate step to scale the business the right way. We are investing in leadership, in our two divisions and, above all, in our channel programme, so that we can add more value to our partners and reach many more customers than we could alone. The ambition is clear and the foundations are strong.”

Chris London, Chief Revenue Officer:

“TPS has an outstanding delivery business and a reputation customers trust. My job is to put a commercial engine behind it and to make TPS the easiest, most valuable infrastructure partner in the UK channel. We are building a sales team, a marketing capability and a partner programme from a strong base, and that is a rare opportunity.”
