UCaaS disrupter Wildix is urging resellers to convert their remaining customers from CapEx to OpEx as a matter of urgency before their competitors do.
Speaking at the company’s 2023 UC&C Summit, Wildix Co-founder and CEO Steve Osler said: “Customers that are signing up for a new cloud PBX in 2023 will not change these PBXs any more until the PBX goes for good. Everyone is grabbing what they can and trying to convert them to recurrent cloud solutions.”
Dimitri Osler, Wildix co-founder and CTO, suggested that when doing so resellers should focus more on the business benefits of unified communications.
He said: “Customers today care less and less about PBXs and more about closing deals. Customer communication platforms create opportunities and maximise the chances of closing deals by increasing customer interactions. From a business owner’s perspective, there’s always a need to invest in a solution that can achieve that.”
