Technology Reseller attended the Brigantia partner conference yesterday hosted at Canary Wharf. At the top of the wharf we were greeted by cloud cover which seemed perfectly apt for takeaways of the day.
A packed out room of over 150 people saw MSPs learning from the industries key vendors about security solutions and options for clients.
Martin Wright and Angus Shaw started the event embracing the companies strengths and growth in the past few years – underlining the importance of the partnership they have with the MSPs and the importance of being up to date with the latest trends in security delivery keeping clients one step ahead of any threat. Javvad Malik from KnowBe4 took over proceeding and hosted as MC for the day
The days presentations kicked off with Lara Vafiadis from Conceal giving an overview on the Concealbrowse platform plug in which secures site threats in real time using AI to keep clients operations secure.
Next up was Marcia Dempster from Keeper explaining the benefits of the platform in securing millions of users passwords from threats around the globe using encryption on their trusted password platform.
Octiga’s Rob Mcfeely explained about their offering helping MSPs manage M365s security automatically.
Geoff White lent his experience and expertise to proceedings and covered a range of hacking issues and pointers in the keynote speech of the day.
Heimdal kicked off the afternoon sessions with the enigmatic Morten Kjaersgaard talking about their comprehensive total solution that offers protection to clients environments at every potential touch point.
Rootshell Security had Shaun Peapel explaining Prismscans ability to regularly test networks defence and vulnerability using AI led intelligence.
Cybersmart then called in the big guns of Jamie Aktar and Adam Pilton to take us through the UK largest certification body making sure everyone is up to date with Cyber essentials and accreditation on their simple to use platform.
ITagrees Anne Hall spent time explaining the legal side and importance of contracts within the sector and went through aspects of business where everyone needs to be up to day with – their platform provides a complete understanding of commitments in supplying IT services protecting all parties involved.
Luca Marinelli presented Parallels works solution to deliver virtual applications and desktop solutions to customers within a single management console.
And finally the presentations wrapped up for the day with an overview from our MC Javved Malik on the benefits of KnoweBe4s offering of simulated phishing and security awareness platform eliminating the potential of the dreaded human error problem.
Throughout the event there was an accompanying showcase for all the contributing vendor where MSPs and resellers could find more about the individual services and solutions available.
The entire day was very well received and attended by the channel – this will strengthen the Brigantia offering in the security sector into 2024 and make them a continued force to be reckoned within distribution arena.
