Ricoh UK has won the Outstanding Equality, Diversity & Inclusion of the Year Award at the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) Supplier Excellence Awards 2025, recognising its ongoing initiatives such as employee-led affinity groups and the wider cultural change programme Living the Ricoh Way.
The award acknowledges Ricoh’s clear, measurable goals and policies for DEI as well as its effective strategies for nurturing inclusion in the right areas.

Paula O’Brien, Director of Sales and Executive Sponsor for Gender at Ricoh UK, said: “We are proud to receive this recognition, which reflects the passion and commitment of our employees across Ricoh. As UK businesses increasingly seek partners with strong responsible business credentials, this award reinforces Ricoh’s position in the market as a leader in corporate social responsibility. Through initiatives such as our affinity groups and, most importantly, by collecting data and truly listening to our people, we are continuously shaping a workplace that not only fosters meaningful change within our own organisation but also inspires progress across the industry and the communities we serve.”
Lucy Smith, Social and Sustainability Executive at Ricoh UK, was also shortlisted at the CPC Supplier Excellence Awards for the Young Professional Award. She was recognised for enhancing social value contributions, elevating employee engagement in community initiatives (particularly through the company’s long-standing partnership with the King’s Trust) and driving tangible business benefits.
The Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) Supplier Excellence Award showcases public sector framework suppliers who drive quality, innovation, and best practice, whilst recognising exceptional performance which has consistently exceeded their educational community’s expectations.
The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion of the Year category highlights outstanding equality, diversity and inclusion practices and celebrates suppliers that foster a culture of respect, belonging and empowerment for all employees within their organisation and wider stakeholders.
