In January 2023, Paul Burn was promoted to Managing Director of Nimans to lead the technology distributor through its next period of growth as part of Midwich Group.
In this interview with Technology Reseller, Burn talks openly about the ups and downs of his first year in charge and explains why Nimans’ diversified – and diversifying – product portfolio is such an asset for the company and its reseller partners.

In addition, Burn explains how Nimans’ acquisition by specialist AV distributor Midwich in 2022 has energised the company. He points out that being part of a PLC has encouraged it to act more strategically, citing the new Nimans One Plan sustainability strategy as an example. At the same time, Nimans has sought to maintain its people-centric culture by championing the office as a place to work, interact with colleagues and build relationships.
