Oldham-based IT infrastructure and connectivity specialist TPS has appointed Chris London as Chief Revenue Officer, as the privately owned business builds a structured sales and channel function to support an ambitious national growth plan.
Technology Powered Services (TPS), the Greater Manchester infrastructure and connectivity specialist, has appointed Chris London as Chief Revenue Officer.
London takes ownership of sales and marketing across the business and will build its commercial engine, partner programme and go-to-market capability from the ground up.
Founded in 2019 by CEO Andy Hanlon, TPS is privately owned and debt-free. The business designs, installs and supports technology infrastructure nationwide across the full lifecycle, from consultancy and design through to installation and ongoing support. It has grown rapidly year on year since it was founded, reaching £10m in revenue in 2024, and has won several industry awards, including Business of the Year and the 2024 Technology Reseller Award for Technical Services and Implementation Provider.
Chris brings more than 26 years in the UK technology and telecoms sector. Most recently he was Chief Revenue Officer at Convergence Group / M247, leading sales customer experience and sales operations through a major acquisition and integration. Before that he held senior commercial and sales leadership roles at Azzurri and Vodafone, and spent a decade building and leading the specialist sales organisation at Daisy Corporate Services, now Wavenet, winning large and complex enterprise contracts and building high-performing teams.
London joins to put a formal commercial structure behind that delivery track record, including a new sales team, a partner channel programme and a marketing capability. The business is targeting the next stage of its journey, scaling towards £25m-plus over the next three years by adding a structured channel programme, direct enterprise sales and a growing managed services business, with the channel as the primary engine.
Quote, Chris London, Chief Revenue Officer
“TPS has built an outstanding delivery business and a reputation that customers trust. My job is to put a commercial engine behind it. We are building a sales team, a marketing capability and a partner channel programme from a blank sheet, which is a rare opportunity. The ambition is clear and the foundations are solid, and I am looking forward to helping more partners and customers connect with what TPS can do.”
Quote, Andy Hanlon, Chief Executive Officer
“We have grown TPS on the quality of our delivery. Bringing Chris in as CRO is a deliberate step to scale that the right way, with structure, a strong channel proposition and a clear plan. He has the experience to build the commercial side of the business to match the strength of our engineering.”
