Elovade is expanding its portfolio with a new ‘AI Technologies’ category. The category is being introduced across Europe in DACH, the UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Southern Europe. With this move, the Value-Added Distributor is responding to the growing importance of AI in the channel and supporting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT service providers to build their own services business around AI. The portfolio launches with nexos.ai and Rencore, with further vendors and technologies to follow.
A recent snapshot of sentiment among Elovade partners shows that AI is already widely used by many end customers, but the tools themselves are often still sourced in a decentralised way. At the same time, concrete offerings in the channel are only beginning to emerge in many areas. Among the key challenges identified in the partner feedback are a lack of clearly defined and marketable service offerings, as well as open questions around data protection and compliance.
This is precisely the gap Elovade aims to address with its new AI Technologies portfolio category. The distributor combines selected solutions with technical expertise and enablement to help partners build clearly defined and marketable AI services. The goal is to turn individual technologies into standardised, recurring Managed AI Services that can be integrated into the existing service portfolios of MSPs and IT service providers.
Elovade CEO Philip Weber comments: “AI presents a tremendous opportunity for our MSPs and IT service providers to strategically evolve their business models and build new service offerings. Now is the time to lay the right foundations and gradually make AI an integral part of their services business. With our new ‘AI Technologies’ category, we are combining a carefully selected vendor portfolio with expertise and enablement to support our partners on their journey towards becoming Next Gen MSPs.”
AI technologies lay the foundation for Managed AI Services
As the use of AI within businesses continues to grow, so do the requirements for its controlled use. Alongside access to suitable AI models, topics such as data sovereignty, access rights, governance, automation and integration into existing business processes are becoming increasingly important. For MSPs and IT service providers, this creates a range of opportunities for new Managed AI Services. With the new category, Elovade is gradually addressing these requirements across its portfolio. At launch, the focus is on two key areas: the productive and controlled use of AI, and governance and transparency across existing IT environments.
Angus Shaw, Managing Director of Elovade UK&I, commented: “AI is one of the biggest opportunities in front of the channel. Now with the right tools and support, partners can use it to automate more of their own operations, help clients adopt it safely, and build a new, billable service around governing how it is used. That’s the opportunity we’re bringing to them.”
At launch: a focus on AI use and governance
With nexos.ai and Rencore, Elovade is launching the category with two vendors that address these areas from different perspectives. While nexos.ai provides centrally managed access to a wide range of AI models, Rencore delivers governance and transparency for Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot and AI agents. Together, the two solutions mean the portfolio covers both the productive use of AI and its controlled and transparent management from the outset.
nexos.ai
nexos.ai brings together more than 200 AI models on a central platform. Through AI Workspace and AI Gateway, businesses can integrate different models into day-to-day work, applications and automated workflows while centrally managing access, usage, costs and governance. For MSPs and IT service providers, this creates an opportunity to provide their customers with controlled and largely vendor-independent access to generative AI.
Rencore
Rencore focuses on the governance of existing Microsoft and AI environments. The platform provides transparency across resources, access rights and risks in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot and AI agents, supports policy enforcement and automates governance tasks. This enables organizations to manage data access and permissions transparently, reduce risks and integrate the growing use of AI and AI agents into existing structures in a controlled way.
Partner offering to be expanded further
Elovade will expand the new category with additional technologies and vendors over the coming months. At the same time, the distributor will continue to broaden its support for partners around AI, ranging from technical expertise and training to the development of their own service offerings. As part of the launch, dedicated partner events are also planned across DACH, the UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Southern Europe in the coming months.
