MaxContact appoints new Head of People to lead culture, capability and organisational development strategy.

Customer engagement software provider MaxContact has appointed Hannah Holmes to the newly created role of Head of People. Her appointment reflects the organisation’s commitment to building a high‑performance culture and strengthens its people infrastructure as it enters its next phase of growth.

The Manchester‑based business, which employs around 70 people, has seen rapid expansion over the past five years, driven by strong demand for its cloud-based contact centre solutions. As the company prepares to scale further, it recognised a need for a strategic people-leadership role to ensure that capability, culture, and organisational design evolve in line with its commercial ambitions.

Hannah brings significant experience working with senior leaders in fast‑growth and transformation environments. Her career has focused on aligning people strategy with business outcomes, developing leadership capability, and embedding organisational clarity around standards, behaviours and accountability.

In her new role, Hannah will lead the development and delivery of MaxContact’s people strategy. Her key priorities will include leadership development, organisational design, talent and succession planning and performance and accountability frameworks. She will work closely with CEO Ben Booth and the senior leadership team to ensure the people agenda acts as a strategic enabler of growth.

Hannah Holmes, Head of People at MaxContact, says, “What really appealed to me about MaxContact was the ambition, not only commercially but culturally. The business recognises that people and culture are a competitive advantage. There’s a clear desire to build an organisation where expectations are high, accountability is strong, and people feel part of something meaningful. I’m really looking forward to working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure our people agenda directly enables our commercial ambitions, not sits alongside them.”

Ben Booth, CEO at MaxContact, adds: “Hannah’s appointment reflects our belief that the success of our business relies on the success of our people. We wanted to embed people and culture at the heart of our strategy, not as an optional extra. The creation of her new role was carefully planned to ensure we can build the right infrastructure, develop the right capabilities, and foster a positive working culture that will give us the longevity we’re preparing for. Hannah’s experience was a perfect fit for us, and we’re excited to work with her as we strengthen our organisational capability for the future.”
